WINE CLUB TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome and thank you for becoming part of the Ambar Circle! To help you make the most of your membership, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the following policies, terms and conditions.

Ambar Circle

Ambar offers wine clubs at three tiers: 4-bottle, 6-bottle and 12-bottle shipped twice a calendar year. There is no fee to join the Ambar Circle Members, and you may sign up anytime online, via phone or by visiting the tasting room. As a member you agree to all terms and conditions of membership.

All Ambar Circle Members and the person signing for your wine shipment must be at least 21 years of age.

By enrolling in the club, you are authorizing Ambar Estate to send emails to the email address on file in accordance with the Privacy Policy available online.  We reserve the right to alter the wine club membership benefits and wine club release schedule at any time. We reserve the right to terminate your membership at any time with cause.

Automatic Renewal Disclosure

The Ambar Circle Membership is a recurring subscription of two wine shipments per year. Upon signing up for the Ambar Circle, your membership will continue until cancellation.

By signing up in person or on our website’s wine club sign-up forms, you authorize Ambar Estate to charge your credit card for recurring club shipments and any state specific taxes twice annually until you cancel your club membership. 

The two Ambar Circle annual wine shipments are in the spring and fall. Club members will receive an email notification at least one week prior to the billing date. We ask that you verify your billing and shipping details upon receiving this notification email. Please add info@ambarestate.com to your address book to avoid the email getting lost in your junk mail folder. Changes to your billing information and/or shipping address after your shipment is processed may incur a change fee or additional shipping charges.

Your membership discount and benefits are granted upon signup according to the level of membership. Wine club shipments and subsequent wine purchases reflect your member discount. Membership benefits are contingent upon an active membership account and the member must be in good standing.

Pick Up Orders

Pick up orders (available to Oregon residents) will be held at the winery for up to 180-days from the billing date. After 180-days the orders will be shipped to the address on file at the current standard carrier shipping rates and will be billed to the credit card on file. Club membership special shipping rate benefits do not apply to orders that have not been picked up within the allotted 180-day window. 

Shipping

Extra charges incurred for redirected or returned wine shipments are the responsibility of the customer and charges will be applied to your credit card on file.

Government policy requires an adult 21 years of age or older to sign wine order shipments when delivered to a business or residential location. Shipping carriers are not permitted to leave wine orders without obtaining the signature of an adult at least 21 years of age. As such we recommend shipping to a business address, a FedEx Hold at Location, or a UPS store that you determine. We cannot ship to PO Boxes. Carriers make three delivery attempts before returning orders to Ambar Estate. It is your obligation to notify us of any billing or shipping changes prior to the next shipping month or any earlier deadlines specified in the advance email notification prior to the club release. Extra shipping charges incurred due to an incorrect address, delivery interception, and shipments returned to the winery will be charged to your account.

The laws governing direct-to-consumer shipments are different in every state and these regulations limit where we can ship wine and how much wine residents may receive. These laws may affect your wine club shipments and subsequent wine purchases. Ambar Estate is committed to direct-to-consumer shipping compliance and will operate according to the law. We will make every attempt to accommodate all orders and let you know if an order conflict arises so we may attempt to work out another shipping arrangement.

Weather and Shipping Holds

We reserve the right to delay shipping orders due to adverse weather conditions. To protect the quality of our wines in transit from extreme high or low temperatures, we may delay shipping orders until more moderate weather conditions are forecasted. However, we cannot guarantee ideal shipping conditions will remain in effect during transit once the wines leave our warehouses.

Cancellation

You are welcome to cancel your membership at any time however memberships cancelled prior to the first full year of membership, members will be subject to a $50 cancelation fee. Membership continues on a per-shipment basis until we are otherwise notified. You may make any changes to your membership or cancel at any time by contacting info@ambarestate.com. Changes or cancellations made after club processing may be subject to extra charges.

Skipped Shipments

Ambar Circle Members have the option to skip a shipment by clicking the “Skip” button in your Ambar account during a wine club release period. Members may skip up to one shipment every 36 months and retain Active Member status. After a skipped shipment, we ask that members take the following shipments to remain an Ambar Circle Member. Skipping a second shipment within 36 months would change your status to Inactive.
